RAMADA LIMITED DAWSON CREEK

This was you basic small motel in a fairly remote area. It was well situated for exploring town and we were able to walk to some on the major locations. Met several other travelers who were beginning their trip also and were able to exchange ideas with them. Things got quiet at night so we were able to sleep.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever been in to date, for a non-smoking room that's suppose to be a kitchenette it's pretty deceiving. No kitchen at all just a microwave, room stinks of smoke, out dated no fridge. Who the hell puts a coffee maker in a washroom?

We were booked in to the Ramada by the company we work for 3 rooms. Upon arrival to town we looked the hotel up to find directions. Their were pictures of the hotel which we figure was a mistake. Ramada is known to be a quality hotel with great service. There is no excuse that because it's Dawson Creek they are able to offer less, there are plenty of great hotels in town offering great service for a few bucks more. This hotel reminds me of a movie scene where a car breaks down and the characters have to stay in a shady hotel over night. The Good: Well. Hmm I guess I'd have to say it's right off the highway. So that's a positive. The bad&The Ugly: The hotel clerks English is so bad you can't even make out what they are saying on and off the phone. The front desk was stained with who knows what and garbage all over the floor in the lobby. The hotel clerk was blunt and abrupt. He hung up the phone on me before even staying there. I said nothing out of the ordinary. (Poor attitude) Smoke and dog hair in the rooms. Everything just looked like my grandmas musty old basement when I was a kid. I rather sleep in a barn or my truck then ever have to stay at this hole another night in my life. Note!!!! Please RAMADA. Please look at these reviews and please send a rep to seek out the condition of this hotel and staff that dont have human like customer service skills. This is a disgrace on the RAMADA trade mark name. I would love to see these owners lose this business which is not nice to say. But why offer this level of service when you can please yourself and save money by sleeping in your vehicle.
