Ramada Harrison Hot Springs

Harrison Lake Hotel is a total dump. It's unimaginable that it is still open. Doesn't BC have health and safety inspectors? Anywhere in the U.S., this place would have been shut down instantly. The carpet had paint and blood stains. The "breakfast included" did not include any actual food after the initial morning rush of visitors. The staff was entirely inadequate in training, professionalism, and numbers. Local authorities need to step in and rectify this catastrophe. This hotel is a huge black eye for Harrison Hot Springs tourism.

Do not stay at this hotel. Hotel reservations may not be honoured, despite email and phone confirmation, and the hotel is dirty, old and run down. When we arrived, despite confirming our hotel reservation via phone and email, we were told that the hotel could only honour one night of the reservation. I had confirmed our reservation at 6:45am the morning of our arrival, and was told that we were confirmed for two nights by the front desk at this time. The front staff admitted that there was a computer issue, and that there was a reservation in the back end, but the reservation "hadn't made it to their front desk yet." We had made the reservation a month earlier. When asked what they could do to help solve the issue, they said they couldn't do anything. I asked them to help me find a room for the second night since the reservation issue was their fault, and they laughed and told me "good luck with that." There was blood on our mattress, the hallways were filthy, and the windows had bird poop all over them. There were exposed wires behind the bedside table, there were extension cords for the microwave and fridge, and the windows wouldn't latch properly. This hotel is in dire need of clean up and safety checks. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Run away. It’s that simple. Just brutal. Dirty, in a state of disrepair, noisy. Just a really tired place that demonstrates absolute zero pride of ownership. I dislike doing negative reviews but just had to warn folks to stay away.
