very dated, and unclean but the location is great and close to shopping and a variety of restaurants. The price is reasonable if you aren't too fussy. Very noisy and the management won't address noise complaints even when they are in this hotel.

We were not yet completely out of our cab when the owner of the motel came bursting out to tell us that we were not welcome! What? He didn't want us kind in his place! But, we have a reservation! He insisted that we were not welcome. His prejudice stemmed from seeing our big plastic bag which was used to protect my bicycling bags on the train. Instead of trying to soften his mood and explain, we opted to get another motel, which cost us $100 more, but one in which the reception was kind and welcoming. Who is the prejudiced owner of this place? He must be taught a simple lesson in hospitality!

It was nice. I had a lovely view of the mountains. It was clean except for the odd hair. Beds freshly made, bathroom clean. Honestly, it was good for what I needed it to be - a clean place to sleep. I did find something a little strange left behind by a previous guest underneath my bed, but it was easily removed. the staff was very friendly and helpful after I missed my bus. Would recommend to someone needing a room for the night last minute, it was a decent experience.
