Thompson Hotel & Conference Centre

We were returning from a trip to the Gulf Islands and came back to extreme smoke and heat. Our house was hot and stuffy because we had been away with the air conditioning turned off. The Thompson took us in at short notice. Our room, thanks to the air conditioning, was pleasantly cool and smoke-free. The staff were helpful and friendly. When we wanted to cancel a second night, we were able to do so without any difficulty.

If you like noise: the sound of metal clinging in the clothes dryers, housekeepers gathering outside your room, exit door outside your room… if you enjoy a tiny bathroom- one person at a time…if you enjoy early sun because the blackout shades partially cover the window or if you want an entry to the room that is larger than the bathroom and no mirror above desk… also no free water… too bad as staff was delightful…

The restaurant was amazing!!🤩 Small menu but so good! The service was fantastic. I highly recommend eating here if you are staying here! 👏💕
