Ended up scoring a ladt minute deal with room rental for a weekend
Now having been there, appreciate the standard room rate would be understandable
Ammenities are incredible- underground parking, games room, outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Phenomenal restaurant- Fat Marmot IN the hotel.
Dog friendly, good size rooms. Location is awesome right across from main village. Amazing staff!
So glad I lucked out and got the ladt minute deal, but will visit again no matter what. Mini vacation with 2 young kids and dog was amazing!
You gotta go there!

Simplicity done really well. But not posh. The checkin people were great, and a super friendly note in our room from housekeeping was an awesome touch. The room was quiet, no noise at all from other units, minimal from outside. A beautiful view over the valley. Welcome to keep our car in the parkade after checkout so we could ski all day without driving to Happy Valley parking.
Rooms are super well designed- a queen bed plus a queen murphy bed. Dining or games tables folds out to make more of a living room area. The quietest mini fridge I have encountered. There’s an induction unit with a high-side frying pan pot.We made some amazing dinners, but if you’re doing a two pot meal (like pasta sauce and pasta) bring an induction friendly pot). Not ski-in ski-out, but an easy short walk to trails and the village. We will be back!

Booked the room, checked in. Upon checkout got stiffed with additional $74.00 + $11.84 in taxes for "Service Fees", which I presumed was to pay for the housekeeper the next day, which I've always seen as included in the room rate, and I was not made aware of at time of booking. Ground level room, could immediately smell exhaust fumes from parkade below when I walked in to room, so that explained why bathroom fan was running when I walked in. Also being above uninsulated parkade, tile floor stayed very cold. the front desk staff wearing winter wear in the plexiglass-bubble should have been a sign of the cold to come. They have a pub, which I presume the un-uniformed younger people reading their phones at the customer side of the bar were the staff, even though there was no-one behind the bar. The dining area was closed for the duration of the stay, they served no breakfast, and You have to hike up to the village for eats. before the pub opens. Plain jane room, the fireplace doesn't give off much heat, half of the ceiling lights were out. Bed was actually a low lying murphy bed, even though the room was huge enough to put a proper bed in there. Better to spend half the money and stay in Kelowna and just drive up.
