Oceanside Village Resort

Stayed here as a family with 4 adults and two kids in July 2026. We stayed in unit 165. There was plenty of room for our family, with a big full sized kitchen and 3 bedrooms (1 loft open to downstairs). There were beach towels, bathroom towels, plenty of kitchen tools and cleaning supplies. The staff at reception were very helpful. The pool was clean and a good size. The only downside is that it's really not walkable to the beach. The property has no beach access and to walk to the public beach access was 20 minutes. There are two free parking lots at the beach, and plenty of public washrooms, so it is still easy to spend the day at the beach. There was parking for 2 vehicles in front of the house. Some had squeezed in a third vehicle but it depends on the layout of the unit driveway. The unit didn't require too much clean up when we left (take garbage out and start dishwasher) and it was easy to check out. Garbage and recycling pickup was daily. Would definitely stay again.

We love the Oceanside Village. Our family has been going there for 13 years every summer. Our kids are older, but still love it.

Our Family stayed in two units, next to each other at the Oceanside Village Resort in Parkside, British Columbia. Though we had not been to Vancouver Island before, we somehow picked the perfect area and resort. The units are so well stocked, organized and perfect for large or small families (6 in one, 2 in another). We walked to the beach, enjoyed tide pools, drove to nearby hikes that were amazing. The kids swam in rivers, in the resort pools, and some of us spent a day in Victoria. There is so much to do. Vancouver Island is amazing. The resort is like a little village, tucked away on a quiet street, but so close to the best beaches, for playing, walking or just relaxing on the island. The units were better stocked than any place I have ever stayed. And I have rented many apartment like units. Lovely place and wonderful people!
