Holiday House Motel

The manager of the Motel is a real in compassionate jerk. The fires were suddenly out of control in our area and early morning of the day we were to drive there a 2 hour drive, the highway was closed. Absolutely out of our control, believe we would've loved to have gone there but there was no way of getting there. I phoned and asked for a refund and I'm sure he could've given the room to evacuees from the nearby towns, but he refused. All he cared about was the money and in a time of need, so much devastation all around us, it was shocking to be honest! Our friends had their booking at a nearby hotel, and got their money back, no problem whatsoever...speaks volumes

Nice and cozy, the manager, Rebecca went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I went as a solo traveler and stayed there several times before and I felt so welcome, I kept coming back. When I arrived with my friend around 7pm, we did not have a reservation. There was one room available but not yet ready. Rebecca was so kind and got our room ready in no time.

Just awful. Never told about any pet fees when we booked. We brought two, and left with one. One died on property because of an accident they were aware of this. Their doors have a key lock and no one on site until 10am. Making it very hard when your dog is hit by a car and your bf to shut the door to get car keys to get the dog to the vet. Anyways, we were charged for two pets after the owner saw a bloody doodle in my arms. Insult to injury. This place is not clean, my dead dog ate more spiders in that room than they have ever swept or vacuumed. Should be thanking us. Disgusting. Horrible people.
