Highliner Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre

Noisy hotel with renovations. The walls are thin you can hear conversations in the next room. Some customers keep setting alarms off in the hall and stairwell in the middle of the night. I have more stays planned but I will ask my company to move me to another hotel. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly

Shabby exterior, lobby and elevator. Room has been renovated but hair found in the bed, bathroom. Garbage bag and dirty dishes left in the hall for whole day. We were overcharged, but they did adjust when brought to their attention. Contental breakfast offered few choices, no yogurt.

Staff quality is mixed - the breakfast staff was great (the breakfast wasn't bad either) but check in was chaotic. The room was tired with clanking plumbing, uncontrollable room temperature and sporadic hot water. Finally, if there is a nice part of Prince Rupert, this hotel certainly isn't in it - filthy, unsafe and very noisy. I won't stay there again. Caveat emptor.
