Seems blatantly racist and a mockery of indigenous land acknowledgements

The Billy Barker Casino Hotel has a nostalgic Gold Rush vibe that carries through the whole property. We stayed in a standard queen room — small, but nicely done inside and aligned with the hotel’s overall ambiance. Most importantly, it was immaculately clean. We requested a quiet room ahead of time, and the hotel emailed to confirm. They delivered - it was a peaceful, genuinely quiet stay. Because the lobby is small, we saw the friendly front desk staff often, and they greeted us every time. The casino is quiet too, making it relaxed and enjoyable. The hotel’s riverboat-style exterior gives it a fun, memorable character. The downtown location is great - walking distance to restaurants like Granvilles and a solid Mediterranean spot. The parking lot is decent and can even handle a truck and trailer, which is a rare bonus. A clean, quiet, friendly stay with unique charm.

I am so impressed by how quiet this hotel is and how clean the rooms are….i will love to stay again and again….the staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant has the most amazing food for the very competitive prices…..parking is so easy to access and bring our luggage from into this wonderful hotel
