L'Hermitage Hotel

We stayed one night at the L'Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver and were extremely impressed. We arrived first thing in the morning from a cruise. The welcome was amazing from Natalia at reception. She took the time to provide us with detailed information on what to visit in Vancouver, obtained tickets for the hop on hop off bus tour and made our dinner reservation. She also gave us a free voucher for coffee in the lounge and was able to check us into our room early. The hotel was in excellent condition. Our bedroom and bathroom was spacious and modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Top quality room, decor and fixtures. Cleanliness 5. Noise level none. Restaurant dinner meal was delicious. Service...exceptional!!! Amenities great. I was warmly welcomed by friendly young lady...given great tourist recommendations, offered after checkout services that really helped me prepare for my red eye flight. . Just all around helpful staff.

Our family of four had a comfortable and pleasant stay in the one-bedroom Signature suite. Although the room was smaller than expected, the full kitchen and washer/dryer were helpful for our stay. Our 6th floor room was facing Richards St, but the street noise was minimal and we had good sleep. The desk area separated by a glass door was nice to keep luggage off to the side. The kids enjoyed the heated outdoor pool/jacuzzi, even in the rainy, cooler weather, and the fitness room had cardio/weights/gym machine. The fitness room is shared with residents (I believe who live in the higher floors of the building), but the pool/jacuzzi is reserved for the hotel guests. The hotel is in a great location - within 10-15 mins walking distance to False Creek, Gastown, Robson St shops, lots of restaurants nearby, and a couple of nearby groceries (H-Mart and IGA). Best of all, the staff we encountered from the front desk/concierge (Thank you, Carol, for providing detailed sightseeing information at our arrival), doorman/valet (Victor and another doorman whose name I did not get, thank you for your help with luggage, car valet service, your smiles and pleasantries, and offering to take pictures of us!), and housekeeping were all very courteous and friendly. Front desk members always greeted us with a smile and we were told by other guests that they were very helpful in making restaurant reservations.
