Super 8 Saanichton Victoria Airport

In all fairness we didn’t go in. We drove into hotel parking lot and quickly turned around and left. The hotel is Situated immediately beside construction of a new child centre building on one side, Mac Donald’s drive thru on one side and a reservation at the back. In looking into the windows you can see rooms that have supplies and cast-away materials leaning against the window, windows that have leaked with condensation, curtains that are filthy and garbage outside of back rooms. It truly looks like an hourly rental establishment. - maybe the Bates Motel. I’m not sure how a hotel can exist in this condition in this day and age!!!

Staff very welcoming. Quality fresh breakfast items provided. Has General room cleanliness re: sheets, bathroom, towels. Property needs upgrading..rugs very worn and soiled, walls need painting. Overall stale smell in hallway probably from smoking trapped in the rugs.

This place needs updating in a major way, looks and feels really grubby. Breakfast is not much. The person at the desk was not very knowledgeable about our reservation and left us unsure that we were getting what we asked for. They need to upgrade the electrical as they had power bars and extension cords everywhere and the lamps were broken in both rooms, furniture looked like it came from garage sales.
