Driftwood Inn

My wife and I stayed here 4 nights while on vacation. Front office staff were very nice & friendly. Sechelt tourist office is a block away. This place used to be the Driftwood Inn and got completely renovated (including the adjacent Fred’s restaurant) 1.5 yrs ago. They have 28 rooms, 5 waterfront, on 2 floors. Sechelt is a nice town in a beautiful area. Some of the rooms on the 2nd floor have a view of the water, but we stayed on the 1st floor with no view. Nice waterfront walking paved path steps away with some trees & benches. The price seemed reasonable, the room OK, not great, TV channels mediocre at best. Lots of very nice wooded parks with walking paths nearby. The nearby Lighthouse Pub & Grasshopper Pubs are very nice. We took a very nice 90 minute boat tour, Pender Harbour Tours, a short drive from Sechelt.

Really enjoyed my stay at Sechelt Inn. The location is incredible, the property is literally right on the water, and waking up to the ocean views and peaceful atmosphere was one of the highlights of the trip. It’s also within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and everything in Sechelt, which made the stay very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. You can tell the team genuinely cares about maintaining the property and creating a welcoming environment for guests. What stood out most was the hospitality. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful setting on the Sunshine Coast. I would definitely stay again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Sechelt.
