This hotel is ridiculously expensive for what it is. Interiors are old and shabby. Carpet hasn’t been replaced for years. Bathroom is very old fashioned. Lift was broken. Included breakfast was actually a small table outside the room holding mini packets of cereal and juice in packets. No fresh fruit, no ability to make toast and coffee pods you had to take back to your room. And $350 for the night!

Beautiful area, food is excellent. However, it was not a good stay. The coffee maker didn’t work and it took all day to get a replacement. There was a silverfish on my pillow one morning, mold in the bathroom was gross so who knows what was in the carpet. My eyes were swollen by time we left because it clean in the building. The elevator doesn’t work, apparently ever, so we had to slup our bags up two flights of stairs. The desk people aren’t friendly. It is quiet. Steps were never swept in the 3 days we were there. Overall I’d say go somewhere else.

Unfortunately this did not live up to expectations and photos. The room was old and smelt musty; it felt as if no one had been in there for a good while. Food was average in the bar and service was slow although they weren’t busy. The lift isn’t working but we were not forewarned of this and despite this no offer of help with a heavy suitcase. Would not stay here again.
