We stayed at Crystal Forest #6 for three weeks over January and February. If you have a choice I would highly recommend staying elsewhere. Given we were paying premium prices it was disappointing to have such a poorly set up and equipped unit. The bed in the unit was made from two different bedframes resulting in there being constant squeeking everytime either of us moved an inch on the bed, the poor neighbours must have thought we were having a very active night! The Bear Country maintenance guy managed to solve this after the third night by installing additional bracing on the bed frame. Also, due to the lighting on the exterior of the building you have constant light coming into the room through the old louvre blinds all night. When you wake up during the middle of the night you don't need to turn any lights on to see as it is so bright! I strongly urge you to have good eye masks if you choose to stay here.
The owner has not supplied any drawers or shelving for you to put your clothes, we had to live out of suitcases for 3 weeks.
There is no storage space for food as the pantry and other storage areas are all locked for the owners use. This might be fine for a weekend but not for three weeks.
The cutlery, plates and glassware are a mix and match of chipped and old items - we had 4 glasses supplied and all were different in size and shape.
We have stayed in Sun Peaks many times at different units and usually had a very good experience, this was by far the worst. As the property manager Bear Country needs to insist a minimum level of quality from the owners of the properties they manage.

We had a great stay as a family of 4 at Crystal Forest. The ski in and ski out is great. It is a short flat land ski along the valley trail. Our host sent us the ski in / out directions which made it super convenient to navigate. So nicely located that it’s a very short walk (400 m) to the village and even closer to the skating rink.
we will definitely be staying at Crystal Forest again.

We booked #53 in Crystal Forest for 3 days of skiing. It was advertised as ski in ski out which it is neither, unless you find skiing up hill to the Orient as fun once you have found your way through the mase of walkways which are not marked with signage. Signage would really improve the walk to the hill carring your skis.
They really need signs to direct people to the hill as well as where to go departing the hill to Crystal Forest Condos.
The Condo itself is fine, it was clean and had all the cooking requirements you will need.
The parking lot on the other hand - if you have a truck, it will be a challenge espescially if there are vehicles on either side of you. The parking lot was not well designed to accommodate truck parking.
Although the Condo was nice we will not stay there again because of the false advertising of ski in and out and the parking lot was just too much of a hassle.
The walk to the village was about 10-15mins which was ok.
