Fireside Lodge

Great ski-in ski-out location. Our room on second floor was great (separate bedroom and lounge, 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed in lounge), tidy and everything you need for self catering with free subscription channels like NETFLIX as a bonus. Spa pool was nice. We missed our meet and great person, but they sent us an email and gave us ski-rack locks by the time we finished skiing so all good. Note there are no safe's for passports etc... They assured us they had no problems re thefts but I did not find this unusual for accommodation.

The place is well located it is the only reason why I gave it a 2. Be careful here. I am talking about 1 the building in general but also unit 103 where I stayed. The building in general is maintained at a basic level. Floors are not cleaned regularly so is the elevator (controls/buttons). There is garbage in the garage that someone left there and it stayed there for more than 15 days. Kids have put ketchup on the wall by the elevator door, it took 5 days to get cleaned. Building is well located in the village and it is ski-in/ski-out. It is an old hotel that was converted into condos. It need lots of refreshing. As for the unit 103 and I do t know about the other ones but this one is rated at 0 for me. The dishes are all broken, knives and forks are from the dollar store, the dishwasher is falling apart, barely any pots and pans to cook and has for the cleaning of the place well good luck. I found popcorn in the carpet, glass mirror doors have finger prints and streaks and same for the walls. Crumb in the drawers, kitchen cabinets are falling apart. There is so much dust under the furniture that I don’t even want to look under the bed. There is also moulds on the wall. This rental place needs to be renovated big time. It is definitely over price for what you get. It is a studio with one bed and a broken pull out sofa. Most of the bulbs are burned or not working.

We rented a one-bedroom condo at Fireside in late November. It is a great location with easy ski in / ski out and very quiet. Two restaurants and a shop are located in the building if you are looking to eat quickly but really - the whole village is at your disposal. The Fireside accommodations were fully appointed, cozy and convenient. Appreciated the ski tuning room and easy underground parking. Would rent again for sure. For spaciousness, we found the one bedroom would easily accommodate 1-4 people.
