The Pinnacle Lodge

Booked a reservation at Pinnacle Lodge at Sun Peaks, British Columbia for February 2026. I booked the room directly through Westgate Resorts, an American company. When I made the reservation I specifically asked if the deposit was in Canadian dollars or US dollars. I was told Canadian dollars. Much to much surprise the deposit was charged to my credit card in US dollars. I had to cancel due to a change in plans a few days later and the refund was in US dollars but the exchange was lower so the refund was less. When I emailed Westgate Resorts regarding the misleading information they were less than helpful. Definitely won’t book at a Westgate Resort again.

Everything wonderful except poorly kept grounds. If they continue serving wonderful breakfasts we will definitely return, but that is uncertain.

Very friendly staff and a great place to stay. The room was excellent, spacious clean and a lovely little veranda. The fridge was a great help. Would recommend it highly
