Best Western Tin Wis Resort

When you pay a fortune you expect to get stellar service but we got exactly the opposite. First you have to haul 20+ kg bags up the stairs bc there is no elevator. The fridge did not work, there was no bath gel in the shower container, breakfast was mediocre with canned fruit and you still had to take your plates and put them in a tray for washing. Don't stay here if you want a bang for your buck.

Great little hotel with sufficient parking spaces, nice rooms, a sufficiently large fitness center, good breakfast, and nice staff. Located on the beach, we had a lot of fog; parts of The Fog remake were actually filmed here too.

Tin Wis is a resort with a special and impressive history! This can also be found in various places on the resort. The resort is in a beautiful location on the beach! The resort has a restaurant where you can eat well. There is also a kind of take away tent at the campsite with burgers and fish and chips. Here you also have a number of seats. Room was fine. Cleaning could have been a little better, especially the floor still contained a lot of dirt. Beds are good. Also a pleasant shower, with a glass wall instead of a shower curtain as in many places. Staff are friendly and welcoming. In the lobby of the hotel there is a coffee and tea facility where you can tap it yourself (free of charge). There is also a water point to fill your drinking bottle or grab a cup of water. There are several trails in the area. Highly recommended is the Rainforest Trail. Not very long (about 1.2km) but very beautiful!
