We recently returned for a 2nd "annual" fishing trip this July and stayed at the West Coast Motel a 2nd time. Super convenient location to the marina and a few restaurants. The staff is always super helpful and the rooms are perfect for our needs. My parents like staying in the ground level units facing the marina. I'm posting a review because the staff really went above and beyond this trip. My son left his Apple ear bud in his bed. We didn't know until the office called a couple hours after we left. They could have tossed it and not bothered to call but we're grateful they did and they even offered to ship it back. It saved my son a $70-80 replacement. Super grateful and looking forward to returning a 3rd time summer 2027.

The Fisherman's House is is a perfect location for up to seven people. For smaller groups you can rent the upper or lower half separately. It is older, but everything you need is there and it has two bathrooms, two kitchens and a large deck with a view of the harbor. The staff is very responsive to any problems ( e.g. the bbq packed it in on the first night and when we returned from fishing the next day we had a brand new bbq). We have stayed here for ten years and will be returning next year. An excellent deal. One caveat: you cannot process or store fish on the property.

The staff members are very friendly. Unfortunately, both the room and the restaurant were relatively dirty. The rooms are very thin-walled; you can really hear everyone who walks through the hallway, showers in the neighboring room,... The described whirlpool was nowhere to be found. Perhaps we overlooked it?
