BEST WESTERN VALEMOUNT INN

What a surprise this was! Although the hotel has been there 25 years it looks newly renovated. Nestled at the edge of Valemount, this little gem has everything you need. Our hotel room was wheelchair accessible, although it wasn’t needed. We were on the main floor with quick access to the restaurant and the pool. The lounge was closed for the season but was super cozy and opened onto a beautiful courtyard. From the courtyard you could access a lovely hiking trail. Our front desk attendant, Jamie, was able to accommodate us and find us a room early. Service was with a smile and a lot of enthusiasm. We enjoyed our stay and the included buffet breakfast very much. I look forward to visiting again someday.

Excellent hotel, in an underrated location. On the road out of the Rocky Mountains, it allows for a stop in a less famous area but one rich in possibilities, and I recommend staying at least a couple of nights. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and one of the quietest I have encountered at night. For 4 people, it was the only one during the vacation that gave us three separate queen beds instead of two, in a large room. Kind and helpful staff, as is standard in Canada. The pool is only good for letting the kids blow off steam after a day in the mountains and not for adults, but for that very reason, it is a very welcome plus. There is also a gym that enthusiasts of the genre appreciate. Parking is not a problem and has no costs. The continental breakfast buffet is excellent. The only drawback is that it is unclear why there is a machine in the lobby from which you can get drinks like hot chocolate (always available 24/7!), but at breakfast there are only thermoses of coffee and milk. Connected (not included) to the hotel is also a restaurant that provides a simple and excellent solution for dinners, without having to take the car to look for something. Competitive cost.

Hotel is easy to get to right off the main drag, set well back from the road so it’s very quiet. Lovely lobby as soon as you walk in and greeted by very welcoming staff. Rooms are spacious and very clean, bed and pillows were super comfortable, very quiet, had a great nights sleep. This was our third stay at this property and would definitely stay here again
