C & N Backpackers Hostel - Central Station

Scariest place i have ever stayed. In the dodgiest part of town. I wish we knew the junkies live in the street down the road as i would have never booked here. Am pretty sure there was a junkie who was the cleaner, the bathroom was a frosted glass door you could see through and over, there was crazy people staying down the hall and could here weird noises at night in the hallway. To top it off i was charged twice, the man at the check in told me there was no payment but when i double checked with my travel agent she said it had already been payed. Also the check in process was horrible, the man at the front counter was not interested in providing us service and had no time for us. Only plus was the man who checked us out was friendly and a short walk to the train station. Leaving was the biggest relief. Single female travellers a big no.

The worst and disgusting place i ever stayed at. Toilet and bathroom always broken, so you can’t wash or use bathroom. One towel!!! For days for like 20 or more peole. Its a place for some homeless and lost souls. Definitely not for girls!

Not really a backpackers place with no backpacking vibe... Seemed to be more for long term locals. Pretty dodgy area as well, got punched on the street that it’s on. They have a kitchen but nothing to cook with so it’s pretty pointless. Guys on the reception friendly enough, WiFi works well in reception but won’t reach the room. Recommend for 1 night but any longer look elsewhere
