Cambie Lodge B&B

My husband and I spent a wonderful night at Cambie Lodge in Vancouver. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the meticulous paintwork on the front porch, which gave the property a welcoming and well-cared-for appearance. We arrived several hours before the official check-in time because our flight had landed early and our Lyft driver had brought us directly to the lodge. I wasn't sure whether we would be able to stay, but the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome immediately. As it turned out, our room was already ready. Even if it hadn't been, they assured us that we were welcome to relax and enjoy the common areas. After taking our luggage upstairs, we enjoyed an easy walk of about six blocks to find something to eat. Later, I spent about an hour relaxing on the beautiful front porch before retreating to the shared living room, where I enjoyed browsing the books available to guests. The kitchen and common spaces were light, elegant, and inviting. That evening, we relaxed in our room, watched television, and enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The next morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast and pleasant conversation with fellow guests in the shared dining area. It was a delightful start to the day and a perfect ending to our stay. I highly recommend Cambie Lodge to travelers who appreciate a peaceful atmosphere, comfortable accommodations, and the opportunity to enjoy a bit of friendly companionship over breakfast while still having plenty of solitude.

This was the cutest little suite I've ever been in and a big beautiful deck service was wonderful. Very kind people. Was the perfect place to go for a concert with Rogers Arena nearby. excellent B&B with fresh made breakfast and Service. Will definitely book again.

Definitely not impressed with B&B, wouldn’t say we got a good reception on arrival, we were late booking in, but had already advised them we would be and thanked for letting them know. It was a tiny room, I have bruises on my thighs from walking around the bed to prove it, no plug for sink, room was stifling when we arrived! no Aircon but fan that made horrendous noise. My husband asked if we could be moved to a better room, and we were told we could move, but would have to move to another room when the new guests arrived, stupid statement that didn’t make any sense, three rooms in three nights!!! The only upside was the vegetarian breakfast it was basic but good, and enough to set you up for the day, well me anyway, it consisted of, cereals, juice, toast, butter, jam, teas, coffee etc eggs anyway you want including omelettes, it’s a shame the chef didn’t know how to smile!! Supposed to be going back for our last three nights before flying home, that won’t be happening, I’ve cancelled the booking!!😡
