Hilton Vancouver Airport – Review We stayed at the Hilton Vancouver Airport for our last night in Vancouver after returning from a fishing trip, before flying back to England. Because our floatplane only allowed 20LB of luggage, we needed somewhere to store our bags before heading to the fishing lodge, and also a deep freezer for our fish afterwards. We contacted the hotel in advance, and they responded quickly and helpfully — Upneet Anand was especially excellent. When we arrived to drop off our luggage, everything had already been noted and the process was smooth. When we returned, our four boxes of fish were stored safely without any issues. The hotel itself looks updated and very well maintained. The facilities feel modern, with a large shower head and screen, fluffy towels, crisp sheets, and a super‑comfortable bed. The room is nicely fitted and genuinely comfortable. Check‑out was also smooth and efficient. We had stayed at Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni earlier in the trip, and the difference in quality and upkeep between the two hotels was a total surprise. The Hilton’s facilities, comfort, and service were noticeably better — something we did not expect given the price difference and the hotel grades. Overall, Hilton Vancouver Airport exceeded our expectations in every way. It turned out to be one of the best airport hotels we’ve stayed in. Highly recommended.

Off an Alaskan cruise, 3 days in Vancouver. Arrived way prior to check in and they had our room available. Very Nice. Room was spacious and beautiful. Staff were helpful and courteous. Food was excellent.

The location of the hotel is obviously close to the hotel. There is also a hotel shuttle that we didn't use but is worth checking out. The atmosphere was good. The lobby felt luxurious and spacious. The room was small and not spacious. I was also a bit disappointed in the bathroom, because there is only place for one person (two if one is using the shower). The beds however were all comfortable. I'm unsure of the value. The hotel and room was also clean with almost no small stains in the room. The noise level was mostly low, although the insulation of the walls is not very good. It's easy to hear other guests talk in the hallways from your room. My biggest disappointment was the service. Almost all staff members were kind and polite, except during our check-in. I was absolutely baffled when we checked in at 12:00AM, and the receptionist was half asleep and didn't even greet us. She seemed so unfocused, didn't crack a smile, and mumbled her way through the process. We had to ask about the parking and breakfast ourselves. In the middle of our conversation she just picked up the phone and spent 5 minutes talking to another guest. She didn't even apologize or wish us a good night. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the buffet breakfast because we were to late (30mins) because the receptionist from the other day didn't tell us what the opening hours were. Fortunately, the staff there made an exception and let us eat a-la-carte. The food was good, although it took a while to be served. Overall, I'd say the room is small for a family. I sincerely hope the receptionist that checked us in does not represent the many other staff members at this establishment.
