The Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park

Spacious accommodation. Plenty of room for my three young kids. It is good value for money compared with other places we looked at. Was nice to be so close to Stanley park. Reception were very helpful. There was an unfortunate very musty smell in our apartment which despite their best efforts to rectify, could not be removed. I suspect it may need new carpets which looked very old. But overall it was a good place to be and reasonably priced.

We were happy to stay here again, this time while in town for the Sakura Days Japan Festival. We love the close proximity to Stanley Park and that dogs are welcome. Our dog LOVES it here. We had a suite on the 3rd floor this time around. I must say the furniture in our room was looking a bit worn and beat up. The suite had a sleeper sofa. We pulled it out because two other family members were considering staying with us one night instead of driving home after a full day in Vancouver. However, the mattress on the sleeper sofa was AWFUL. I wouldn't even put small children on it. So they did not stay. (They drove home and arrived safely.). The bedrooms are tight. A double bed barely fits in the room. And the bathrooms are quite small. There is no place to put your toiletries. A little shelf would go a long way. But we still love this place!

It was so nice to return to Rosellen Suites! I hadn't been to visit here for a few years. My dog remembered the place! As usual, our suite was spacious, offering everything we needed for our stay. We had a one bedroom suite; the bedroom was a bit small, with the bed up against the wall. Still, it worked for us. They've remodeled the lobby area. I miss the raccoon. But it is now more modern. Our only issue was that the lock on our door was finicky. It took many attempts inserting our key cards in slot to get the door to open. That was a little frustrating, especially after hours. Otherwise, it was a terrific stay.
