Queen Victoria Hotel & Suites

Truly excellent stay here! All of the staff, from valet to front desk to breakfast were terrific. Our suite was large and in great condition. Great location - easy to walk to tons of things to do. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed with our 2 toddlers at this Double Tree over Victoria day long weekend and our stay beyond words. Aside from the cleanliness and location it was the staff that truly made our stay amazing! They were all so kind and willing to help. I want to specifically mention Aleen and Emily in the breakfast area. Everytime we went down for breakfast They always made sure we were all taken care of asking if we want any juice and or coffee brought to the table even though its buffet and we could have poured ourselves. They offered and brought crayons and coloring sheets for the kids. This helped a lot! They made an effort to chat about our plans for the day and Emily even went to get a map to share some places to go. Aleen also wrote down and suggested some nearby playgrounds the kids would enjoy. They were so warm and truly made us feel comfortable. I also want to mention front desk staff who always provided us with extra waters when asked. One of the times we asked Ray for water and we were offered a couple extra iconic Doubletree cookies one morning when they were freshly baked! Couldn't refuse that one! When we were checking out the valet Mur stored our wagon for us as long as we needed so we could get our stuff sorted and packed. We also all had some long entertaining conversations about the kids on our way out. Small gestures go a long way! The staff here is doing an excellent job making guests feel comfortable and hospitable. We will stay here again when visiting Victoria! Highly reccommended!

Fully enjoyed long weekend in Victoria, BC! We took the clipper from Seattle, and this hotel is just a short walk from the marina. It is located walking distance to the Empress, museums, Fisherman's Wharf, parks, trails and many restaurants and bars. The room itself was quite spacious and nice. The nearby construction was not an issue.
