Royal Scot Suite Hotel

This is the best mid grade hotel we've stayed at in a long time. The location is fabulous, it's close to the inner harbor, the legislative grounds, the shops and the museum. The best part about this hotel though is the customer service; it's top notch. They are responsive and personal which is a higher end hotel tactic. The hotel itself is a bit dated but very clean and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. Definitely worth looking at if you're in Victoria for a stay.

We had two nights here at this quirky hotel. A bagpipe player piped us in from the coach! Our room was more an apartment, with bedroom, kitchen, separate lounge and dining area as well as a bathroom and entrance hall. Although dated, it was clean with lots of charming details and the bed was comfy. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would have loved to stay much longer! We didn't notice any air conditioning though, although it was shady under the big old trees and still early in their summer. It's a short walk down to the harbour (and further if you need to go deeper into town) but there are places to eat nearby. Victoria is beautiful. I'd go back again tomorrow to the same hotel.

We absolutely love the Royal Scot! Perfect location, wonderful rooms, and the front desk staff is super helpful and attentive. We stay here every time we come to Victoria and we will again and again.
