The restaurant services are good, and the quality and taste of the food are excellent. However, the overall service quality and the restaurant environment are quite poor. The materials used, including dishes, tablecloths, tables, and chairs, are of low quality. The carpets are dirty, ventilation is weak, and the cleanliness of the staff is concerning. There was an unpleasant odor from their clothing, and their appearance (such as greasy hair) is not appropriate for a food service environment.

Amazing location , love the history , comfortable beds , amazing original art work , super friendly front door staff , the lounge and library was amazing, free tea and coffee all day and evening . The reason why not a five star is because the smell.

Not a family friendly hotel but happy to take your money as a family booking. Children are only allowed to eat at breakfast. We were then advised that our young child could not sit anywhere in the hotel outside of our bedroom. We were given a dress code at the time of booking but were not advised that children are not welcome. I had packed all of the correct clothing for my kids but it was a waste of time because they weren’t allowed to be present in the building . As a family of 4 we were provided with x2 towels. Our beds were made however toilet tissue was not replaced. One roll provided with no extras and the empty roll was left hanging. Then we spotted a mouse running through the dining area.
