Our third stay and just as pleasant as our first - our honeymoon in 1984. Just celebrated our 42nd anniversary at the Victoria Regent and had a wonderful time. The view of the harbor from the bedroom and the large balcony was fantastic. At night the Parliament building was full lit beautifully. The room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed. Absolutely the best place to stay in Victoria.

We visited Victoria in July and stayed for almost a week at the Regent. We were looking for a place that had a kitchen, and this was absolutely perfect. Our suite had a Marina view and a full kitchen with everything we needed. The suite itself was luminous, spacious, extremely clean, and quiet. The beds are super comfortable, and with a separate space for sleeping apart from the kitchen and living/dining room, we were able to have a restful stay. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Victoria, and also super close to bus stops, allowing us to take public transportation to many attractions. Staff was friendly, polite and helpful. They let us store our luggage securely for the last day, and helped us call a cab to the airport. We had a wonderful time in Victoria and would definitely recommend the Empress to anyone!
