ResortQuest at Glacier's Reach

CAUTION! Our bikes got stolen here. We foolishly thought that they would be ok since the garage is locked, the storage room was locked, and we had bike locks. There were multiple other bikes being stored in there as well, but about 4-5 other bikes were stolen with ours. Whoever it was, has access. There didn’t appear to be any signs of forced entry. Police reports were made. We notified the property manager (who honestly didn’t seem to care) but nothing came of it.

Although it’s in an ideal place for walking to whistler village and with good parking , the accommodation appears to be all run my separate landlords or organisations and the accommodations certainly looks like they need some upgrades and of course the placement of it on the site would dictate your experience. Many of the places have jacuzzi’s with a level of privacy vastly different. A lot of accommodation is very close to others and I’m sure will get a bit lively during main vacation periods so you may have to pick wisely. We were lucky to be there at a quiet time and reckon the accommodation we booked , No 58 is one of the better places for privacy and good value but it still had issues and needed some TLC . The overall impression I had was that it used to be a really good site when the Olympians stayed there! but ever since it has declined overall . It just needs better attention to detail and maintenance and on site management.

#72 Glacier's Reach is really conveniently located. It was nicely renovated, and has a private hotter. We took the free shuttle to skiing. Was spotless. Our hosts at Whistler Stays were great. We booked on Airbnb.
