Wescana Inn

First of all people should remember The Pas is smaller, resource based community in Northern Manitoba. You need to reset your expectations. For The Pas, the Westcana Inn is about as good as it gets. The rooms are clean and neat. Bathrooms are updated and clean. The attached restaurant does alright serving basic food. At least you can sit down and dine-in. There are very few dine-in with table service options, in The Pas. My room A/C was broken. The lobby cleanliness is sorta acceptable but not perfect. I’m still rating this place with 5 stars. Its a 3 star hotel yet it earns top ratings among other 3 star hotels. Wescanna gets bonus points for offering what they do, in The Pas.

The room is a bit on the smaller side but is clean,.It has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.Parking is right outside your door if you have a ground floor room, Friendly front desk

I booked through my work and after checking in, I had a group trying to get into my room. They had the right key and would gave come in but i had the deadbolt on. Told them to check with the front desk and the room was booked. Security shows up and tries to tell me i’m not registered there. Again i tell them to leave and check with front desk. Get a call from front desk telling me they made a mistake and offered a free breakfast. Hopefully i am awake enough to eat as I don’t think i am sleeping anymore tonight! Waiting for another “mistake” to happen!
