Very friendly front desk staff. Clean room with great beds. Perfect location. I would recommend this hotel.

Good location with great staff. Rooms were adequate and clean but refurbishment is needed as the property overall seemed tired.

Go across the street!
I’m giving this hotel a two star because when you walk in, it feels very luxurious and the front desk staff do try to accommodate. They were very pleasant.
However, once you get to a room and I had two, it’s very dark, damp and musty. It’s kind of like a hotel that likely 10 years ago was nice but has never been maintained since it’s been good. I do think that the price of the hotel is still high based on the accommodations of the room.
When I was in my 20s and 30s and I could sleep very easily and I was out all night did not notice smell or dampness or mustiness in the room. This would’ve been just fine.
As a 50-year-old, I know how crucial and impactful sleep can be. I also know how difficult it is to achieve it even in my own bed so when I travel which I do very often for work, I’m looking for the quiet luxuries that give me comfort this hotel is not it.
The first room I was shown had no daylight aside from a sliver window it looked like it may have had a more updated shower, but as soon as I open the door and walked in, I turned around and went to the front desk based on the smell of the room, and the fact that there was a potato bug in the room, which are drawn to dampness. The second room I will admit was brighter so initially, I thought I would attempt it because the front desk staff did tell me that I would lose a one night stay when I did ask this question if I can cancel in fear that all the rooms would have this mustiness. However, after about 20 minutes in the room, it was very clear I could not be comfortable here so I called the front desk and cancelled the second night immediately. It was a long travel day. While at dinner about a half an hour later, I reminded myself that being up all night would make for a very miserable next day, so I went back to the room, grabbed my suitcase, which was still intact and cancelled the room entirely losing the one night stay. The hotel did not care. They would not refund me the one night say. They stood by their say of cancellation policy of 4 PM but since this was 7 PM, they would not honour a refund. They even charged me a full day parking when o was there for 1 hour. That was quite disappointing.
This hotel is independently owned and operated and not up to the Crown standards.
The good news is, I walked across the street to the other hotel. I was greeted by an amazing woman who checked me in for two nights, and I’m had a pleasant stay with most of the comforts that I look for in a hotel. It’s also the same price and it’s fresh and feels new.
