Room with a view of the river, very clean and well soundproofed. Welcoming and very kind staff. On-site restaurant with a terrace and view of the river, pool, and easy, free parking. Walking access to a small park adjacent to the hotel and a path along the river. Restaurants and cafes nearby. I recommend it without hesitation.

Our stay at Rodd Miramichi was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a great menu for both children and adults. We loved the beautiful river view and the amazing sunsets. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel’s services very much. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back. Thank you for making our family trip so special!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Rodd. The reception area and the hallway leading to the breakfast area have been nicely updated and feel clean and elegant. The staff who greeted us upon arrival, as well as the breakfast staff the next morning, were friendly and welcoming. One area that could be be improved is the front desk during busy times. When we checked out, there was only one employee on duty, and he was on the phone assisting someone. Although I waited for several minutes, he was unable to assist or even acknowledge me because he remained on the call, so I eventually had to leave without checking out in person. It may be worth considering having two staff members at the front desk during peak periods to better serve guests and provide additional support for staff. The guest rooms themselves were comfortable and clean but are not as updated as the hotel’s entrance and common areas. Our biggest concern was the noise late at night. We arrived around 10:30–11:00 p.m., and shortly after midnight the music and noise from the room next door became very loud, making it difficult to sleep. I called the front desk, and the employee came up immediately. The noise stopped right away, and we really appreciated the prompt response. The restaurant offers a beautiful view, which we enjoyed. However, the music in the dining room was much too loud and wasn’t the type of relaxing background music we would expect while enjoying a meal. A quieter, more relaxing atmosphere would make the dining experience much more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel has many positive qualities, particularly its friendly staff and attractive common areas. With a few improvements to front desk staffing during busy periods, continued attention to noise, and a quieter restaurant atmosphere, it would provide an even better guest experience.
