Ramada St. Johns

The general manager Maria, along with front desk staff Glenn and Chelsea really made this layover special! Our flight was diverted to St. John’s from Halifax due to weather, so we appreciated how quick Maria and her team were able to check us in on short notice. The rooms were spotless, and well appointed with great showers and bathrobes which were so welcome after a long travel day. The location was great, and it was convenient to the airport and downtown. Maria, thanks for your great hospitality! We felt at home!

We spent one night here on our way back from St Pierre, before flying home. The hotel is in a central location near restaurants and the Avalon Mall. The room was clean and well laid out. No issues at all. I had a video conference call in the evening, which I was prepared to do in the room, but it would've been a bother to my Dad. The staff was very kind and set me up in one of their conference rooms, so I can take the call in private and Dad could relax in the hotel room. It was very much appreciated! There is also a good restaurant attached to the hotel. It's a smokehouse and it's quite good. We had the brisket, and we tried their trio of sauces as well. It's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Good location to downtown and amenities. Staff are excellent. Highly recommend.
