Super 8 Saint John's

The room was somewhat rundown. The rest of the hotel had been renovated into suites or was being renovated when we were there. We chose the hotel for location. The noise from construction work was somewhat annoying.

My Queen room with two queen beds was not available at check-in. It was given away with no communication to me whatsoever. Showed up at 9pm and no room. I had to accept what was available. Staff burst through the door at 7:45 am, said “sorry, didn’t know anyone was in here” and left again. Same staff member told me items stated to be on the breakfast menu but weren’t, we’re not typically available on weekends. Said they “don’t put them out on weekends”

We stayed here 1 night. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and super helpful when we checked in. Breakfast was good and a decent selection. Blueberry scones were the best I have ever had…I went for seconds. All in all I would stay here again and recommend it.
