Inverary Resort Hotel

Went as part of a group on tour. Area is beautiful. The resort means you have to walk around between restaurant and hotel blocks. Given the bad weather it was really a run for cover. On the good side there is a fab restaurant on site with great options for breakfast and dinner. The bad point was our room. It was very dated and in parts not so clean.

Buyer beware! The photos are charming but if you get a room online, a queen bed in a standard room, they put you in THE OLD BARN. An old musty room with no outlets to charge and an old outdated wall a/c unit. Seriously for $277CAD! No elevator either. Call and find out about your room and building ahead of time. This room should not cost more than $100 CAD ...in fact this place shouldn't even rent these out. Disgraceful

Horrible, outdated rooms, terrible smell and carpet that must be changed. Bathroom with dirty shower curtain, shower head was quite nasty. Location is great but that's the only positive thing that can be written, Pick a different place if you can. Expensive for what the resort offers and is. In one of the old house where my room was, noise was pretty loud and room door doesn't have a good insulation.
