Comfort Inn (New Glasgow)

Nice stay in a nice hotel. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast included. Room was clean and comfortable.

This motel provides clean, comfortable, reasonably priced accommodations. There are lots of family style restaurants in the area. Noisy air conditioning which is pretty much standard. Friendly staff. Breakfast is included with the room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Comfort Inn: yes, the breakfast seating area in a corner of the lobby is tiny, but the breakfast options were great and included scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles and continental options. The staff at check in and breakfast were friendly, and check in/out was fast. The room itself was standard motel - two Queen beds, fridge, microwave, coffee, the biggest TV I had during a 12 day trip around NB,NS & PEI , and an old fashioned large wooden wardrobe, with plenty of room of storage if you need hanging space/stay a few nights. All the bed linen and bathroom towels were fresh and clean. It's conveniently located just off 104/TransCanada Highway, but it was also quiet at night. It's right next to Tim Horton's with a Walmart just across the street, though there's also supplies in the lobby if you arrive late and need something fast to pop in the microwave. I think I also saw an outside grill and seating area at the back, and there is parking almost right around the building so you can park close to your room. The only drawback is there's no elevator, so anyone with mobility issues needs to get a room on the lower floor.
