The Prince George Hotel

booked in July 2026 for 3 nights on 6th floor; enjoyed the stay so much, we changed some of our travel plans and went back 2 weeks later for 3 more nights! I can't praise all the staff enough to justify how much they care about the clients. The 6th floor has extra benefits including free breakfast buffet and a lounge on the floor for occupants only.... snacks ,coffee, tea, water and television.

I want to thank the Prince George Hotel for an excellent stay. The hotel is well located within Halifax, in walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars, parks, and the waterfront. Parking at the hotel garage was easy and convenient. The room was cozy, quiet, and comfortable. But the best thing was the staff. They spoiled us with special treats for our honeymoon and made us feel celebrated and welcomed.

Spent 2 nights here at end of NS road trip. The hotel was very comfortable. We were upgraded to sixth floor which gave us buffet breakfast(good) and access to lounge with coffee etc. Our room was large and clean. Staff were helpful-arranging matters so could use garage (which is charge for) until we needed to go out to airport. There is an outside sitting area overlooking street which seemed a nice place to sit and have a drink. The hotel is well located for restaurants, museums and the Halifax boardwalk which is great place to spend time if weather decent. Swimming pool is small and sauna seems to take ages to get going and even then is not that warm. Minor issues in relation to a hotel I would happily stay in again.
