Lakeview Inn And Suites Halifax

Was pleasantly surprise, after reading all sort of reviews. We had a big room. It’s a bit outdated, but was very clean and comfortable. Lots of parking spaces. Pool was clean but we didn’t go. Breakfast was continental style but had lots of choices and fresh fruits. Staff was very friendly, specially the young lady who looked after us. I’m sorry I didn’t wrote her name down. We would go back.

The location is a ten or twenty minute drive away from Halifax depending on traffic. I went during construction so I am being kind by leaving it a three star review. I am assuming without the construction it would be less hostile. The front desk staff are kind. The room was mid and accessible. The doors outside from the room are convenient. The security is lax. It was by far my biggest issue with the hotel. Do not use an adjoining room unless it’s with someone you are with. It was noisy non stop and drug usage and smoking were issues. If it wasn’t for the front desk staff I would’ve rated it a one star.

Fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, Amy at the front desk made our stay more then we could have ask for; from giving directions to local attractions to recommending dinner options - she was top notch. Our room was 104 with some recent updates. Great shower, very very clean ( immaculate) actually. Nice, bright and crisp sheets. Bed was comfortable and nice fluffy pillows. Location was great - close to everything we were going to. Great value and ample parking. Hotel was full but nice and quiet - never heard a sound all night. Thank you Amy for making this a wonderful stay. See you again soon :)
