Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites

We booked the suite #817 was we loved our stay. Beautiful room with an amazing view. The only problem was the door latch was loud and difficult to close. There is room for improvement.

If you are looking for an elegant boutique style hotel with amazing staff and service, look no further, this is where you want to stay. I had the pleasure of staying here for 3nights at the end of September and had an awesome stay. The location is perfect, 15min walk to the Waterfront with tons of bars and restaurant chocies along the way. The rooms are quite comfortable and the service and staff were exceptional. 5Stars all the way around. Thank you Lord Nelson, we'll be back !!

Really enjoyed staying at the Lord Nelson. It's pretty conveniently located. If you like walking it's a 15- to 20-minute walk downhill and about 200-300 ft of elevation walking back. If that's going to be a problem for you, you might want to consider staying somewhere else. The hotel ambiance is really nice. There are some really classic features of the hotel that make it feel like it had a very storied history. I think it's very clean, nice, and a great value. if ownership was interested this hotel could use some investment to turn it into a 4.5- or 5-star experience. With that said it was great value. It was very clean. The staff was friendly, from the folks at the arms to the people delivering room service.
