BEST WESTERN PLUS GLENGARRY HOTEL

We were really looking forward to our stay, but we were left thoroughly disappointed. We arrived around dinner time, eager to use the pool, but found the water completely disgusting and so cloudy that you couldn't even see the bottom in the shallow end. We had to find an alternative activity for our evening. ​When we got to our room, we were shocked by the lack of cleanliness. There were a lots of visible stains on the walls and floors, as well as inside the toilet and sink. The room was smelly as well. We strongly debated leaving but ultimately decided to stay the night. That turned out to be a mistake. At 3:30 AM, the room's alarm clock went off. We couldn't figure out how to turn it off without it continuously snoozing, so we tried to unplug it—only to discover that the wall outlet was incredibly loose and felt like a safety hazard. ​Furthermore, the room we were given did not match the photos advertised on Google; it was old, outdated, and poorly maintained. To top it off, the breakfast was noticeably worse than what we have experienced at other Best Western locations. While management did give us a 25% refund for the inconvenience, it does not make up for the experience. I highly recommend skipping this location. Should have taken more pictures.

Would recommend this hotel price and service very good friendly staff professional at all times.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Sufficient space for a family with older children to share. Very courteous, pleasant staff who also promptly answered the front desk phone. Good location for town, Victoria Park and major roadways. Breakfast which was included in our room was good. It was also very pleasant since it was held in the lovely restaurant in the hotel. All and all a very good stay. I’d look forward to staying again.
