We checked in for birthday party. Found out water was being shut off next morning. Manager refused refund or comp stay and was beyond rude, yelled at me and insisted we were given a free cancelation but we weren't. Lied that there were witnesses. Horrible customer service. Avoid.

During our annual fishing trip to Canada, we have been driving up most of the way from the US, and stopping overnight somewhere in Canada, before finishing out the drive on Saturday morning. This year's choice was the Hampton in Barrie, and it turned out to be a good one. We slept well, everything seemed clean, and the place was relatively quiet. The Receptionist who checked us in, also recommended a local pizza place who would deliver to the hotel, and he called us when it arrived. Turned out to be a great choice for dinner after a long day of driving. For next year's trip, we are definitely considering stopping here again.

Given a free upgrade no hand soap, no tissue, broken toilet needed plunging twice. Noisy water taps. Hotel is getting very tiered looking. When we complained at front desk on check out they were sorry but still charged us for a pop. Last stay for me
