Holiday Inn Express Collingwood Blue Mt

My wife and I spent one night at Comfort Inn & Suites in Collingwood. But, despite spending just one night on our March/2026 visit, we have also stayed at the Comfort Inn on a few occasions over the years. While it is not a luxury hotel by any means, it does still provide tremendous value and, within its class and style of hotel, it does things well. The people are very friendly. The front desk staff was great when we arrived. And, the lady at breakfast was very helpful. She aided people with the waffle maker, for instance, rather than just stand there and watch them try to guess how it works. We paid approx $140 for the night that we stayed. And, this includes a free breakfast starting at 6:30 am. That is really good value. As for our room, it was a spacious and clean room overall. The bathroom is a bit tiny...and it is slightly annoying that the somewhat noisy bathroom fan comes on when the light switch is turned on. The two should be separate. But, again, for the price range, the room is excellent value. Unfortunately, the hotel use to have a swimming pool.....but it has not been operational for a while. The Comfort Inn is also in a great location. It is a 3 minute drive to downtown Collingwood and a 10 minute drive to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. It is a nice little hotel within its category. I would stay here again. And, again, we would like to acknowledge the friendly staff.

Motel was good. Fairly clean and they had a free breakfast. Rooms were okay although strange layout in the bathroom. Good enough for our two night stay, great location.
