It's a bit tired and showings its age, but the main thing is that I realized only after I got here (after some internet sleuthing) that it's owned by a holy-roller-type. What made me suspicious? In my hotel room (to be clear, a "generic" hotel room, not a privately-owned condo) all the wall art was covered in scriptures. I don't like to be preached to on my vacation. Would not have chosen to spend my money here, had I known this before. Ideology aside, as stated earlier, the entire resort is showing it's age (I had friends in a townhouse in the same complex and it was worse - kinda moldy-smelling) and it isn't well maintained. Not the best value for money, since it's not cheap. You can find better, unless Christianity is your thing.

Pros: Spacious and clean room (except a couple of carpet spots), Nice location for area activities including onsite kayak rental (a bit confusing), nearby bike rental and boardwalk for hiking. Enjoyed onsite Seaside Grill dining with live jazz. Rooftop patio has nice vista of Georgian Bay and sunsets! Shopping and restaurants nearby including Blue Mountain. We found horseback riding and walking with alpaca activities on our own. Cons: As a timeshare owner, we are familiar with limited midweek linen service. However, at this resort there was an extra fee. We appreciated being able to cook in the room, but there were no microwave safe pots and cooking area wasn't well lit. Dishes were awkwardly stored in the dresser drawers. There also were no tools for the outdoor grill. Room wasn't very sound proofed with footsteps overhead and very noisy hallway with continuous laundry carts rattling on uneven carpeted floor - please replace!

Front desk manager was rude and ignorant. Worst guest service experience i have had in a long time. Room was not as advertised, many things in room were broken. Also had a hornet nest on the balcony so that was unusable. I have never experienced a place where staff refused to help with issues. I would stay away from this place.
