Comfort Inn Ottawa Downtown

The is a huge Dodge Ram Pickup truck right outside the door that obscures the opening of the hotel. The pickup truck also has a hitch on the back that is low and coming in at night like I did you cannot see it. That is a shin injury. I suggest you tell the owner to move that truck away from the opening door. The staff was great. Cresil checked me in with a smile. 😀 The food was the best I have tasted at any Comfort Inn I have stayed at, I even had seconds. Housekeeping was good also.

This hotel is older, but it is very clean throughout. The rooms were spotless. The breakfast that was served in the morning was included and was very good. My husband particularly liked the pumpkin spice make-your-own waffles! We would definitely stay here again.

I had a very frustrating experience with Comfort Inn. I booked a room after being misinformed by their staff and requested to cancel the reservation the very next day—1 month in advance of my stay. Despite this, I was told I would be charged a 50% cancellation fee. I've now been waiting over two weeks for a resolution, with no follow-up from their team despite multiple attempts to contact them. This level of service and lack of communication is unacceptable. Very disappointed.
