This resort could be very nice with some work and TLC. On arrival my first thought was that pictures I had seen of the place must have been photoshopped. We travelled with friends who were also perplexed. The rooms appeared to be clean until I witnessed the male housekeeper going into at least 10 rooms using the same floor wet swiffer using the same wet pad. The outdoor pool could be so nice with some paint and fixing the huge cracks, the deck is made of 4X4 boards which are a challenge as many were warped or loose and would pop up when stepped on, landscaping consists of overgrown weeds. The outdoor activities that are listed either did not exist or so overgrown are not usuable (tennis court nasty) Breakfast is very sparse, there are some restaurants not far away thank goodness. The bed was not bad but horrible pillows. When booking I was told they had stand up walk in showers but on arrival was told they did not have. Be advised they will not let you check in before 3 even if rooms are available. They do not have daily housekeeping as is advertised on some sites, if you want towels or anything else you must ask them in the morning. Towel are very worn and scratchy. The positive is that you can park right in front of your room

The moment we stepped into the room, we were hit with a thick, musty stench, like mold that had been marinating in stale air for years. It wasn’t just unpleasant; it was nauseating, almost suffocating. No amount of air freshener could mask it. That overpowering smell set the tone for the rest of our disappointing stay in what was supposed to be a 'resort' but felt more like a neglected roadside motel

Even such a low price as 111 $ per night (95+tx) does not justify such a low standard and room equipment. I had the impression that the equipment was from a second-hand store, including a refrigerator that ran like a tractor. The room had no ventilation, you couldn't open the window and the smell of old carpet mixed with another air freshener (?). This Resort needs a MAJOR renovation.
