Trinity House Inn

The Trinity Hotel Inn in Gananoque, where our family stayed this past weekend, was absolutely wonderful! Our loft suite, the Tremont, was immaculate and felt like home. The bed was so comfortable, I had to find the brand name (Haven Sleep Co, a Canadian brand)! Our adult daughter, who has an intellectual disability, settled in instantly. This never happens in real life! We all slept well, and were able to enjoy coffee on our private balcony from a selection of Nespresso coffees in our kitchenette. After that, we mosied downstairs, where Brenda had the most delicious breakfast waiting. I remember there were two choices of frittata with chutney, fresh rhubarb muffins and fresh blueberry muffins, lots of fresh fruit, sourdough bread baked that morning with homemade raspberry jam, and more! Milton, the new owner, is such a nice man. I asked about his renovations, and I was struck by how thoughtfully he approached this labour of love. There is an original stained glass window that fills the main floor with 47 colours. This became the colour palette for the entire inn, and there are now 47 cans of paint in their storage! Milton was able to guide us to some community highlights, but we would have liked to stay several more days. We will try to be back soon! I highly recommend Trinity House Inn, without hesitation.

The Tremont room was great to stay in with our 3 year old. It's hard to find 2 bedrooms in an inn/hotel (didn't feel like doing an Airbnb this trip). Beds comfy and good water pressure. Plenty of space for an energetic child, including a play couch(!). The room had children books as well. The roof line can be low in areas but this wasn't an issue for us. The shared areas of the inn were a bonus too when we had rain, lots of games, a pool table and some excitement without going outside. Included breakfast was fresh and tasty. Great location walkable to downtown Gan, cafe right next door, and main street shopping right there as well. The hosts were responsive, and were able to accommodate special requests which was very much appreciated. Would stay again.

A beautiful place to stay, rooms were beautifully decorated and well equipped . Milton was a lovely host . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
