Taboo Resort Golf And Spa

The resort is starting to age. Every little thing is in an up charge . Water, coffee… Menu pretty plain.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration last evening on the patio at the Boathouse Restaurant at Taboo Resort. The view, the food, the music and the service was outstanding. Many thanks to Kait, Jolene, Alicia and Jules for personally signing a birthday card - what a nice touch. The sticky toffee dessert was an added bonus. We will definitely return.

Taboo resort was a great resort for myself , my daughter and my grandchildren to stay. We stayed from July 6-10 and upon check in they upgraded us from a resort room to a lake view room. Wow the view was amazing. The resort itself is in a great location centered about 10 mins to Gravenhurst and 10 mins to Bracebridge. The resort is big but not to large and we found it was very walkable. It was clean for the most part ,( there were a few places like siding on main building which could use a washing) but we didn’t mind as the pools, our room, the beach etc were kept very clean. The beach is amazing and is great for little kids. There is toys left there in a bin , and the beach is clean safe. The pools ( there are 3 of them ) are all great and are kept clean as well. The kids used the rec Centre and they enjoyed the activities that were offered. We are at the Boathouse restaurant and it was so yummy. We had pizza that was the best pizza I have had ( fig and pinion jam with goat cheese etc) Overall we had a great stay. The resort is showing its age in spots but that did not spoil our fun. We had a clean comfortable stay and the beach, pools made it a fantastic place.
