I got stuck in Toronto Sunday ( last night) because of air Canada strike. Air Canada told me they couldn't get me a flight home within the next few days and then I never heard a word from them. I then proceeded to book this hotel for 2 nights. Today I messaged air Canada and got a ticket on the flight tonight. I called expedia if they could give me refund and they said no problem we will talk to the hotel for this rare circumstance. Then I asked the hotel first thing this am if I could get a refund for tonight and they wouldn't allow it. So I got no refund at all. So not only am I stuck with extra costs I'm also paying for services I'm not using. Not very accommodating. To top it off the hotel rooms were smelly and floors were disgusting. Stains everywhere. I mentioned that to them also but they just said we will have housekeeping look. Bed was all lumpy also.

Our choir rented 6 rooms for a 160th anniversary celebration of the Hamilton German Choir. The receptionist had a bit of difficulty checking us in but managed in the end. The rooms were great, everything was clean, the beds comfortable and the price for the suites was unbeatable. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others

Clean, well staffed, just a really good stay for a really good price. I was unsure what to expect, being a college residence, but this was a very pleasant surprise. While not the Ritz, it was not a disappointment whatsoever. Everything worked, including the AC and the staff were just excellent.
