Ambassador Hotel Kingston

Very easy to find the location off the 401. Close to downtown and convenient to other locations.

What's the deal with this hotel? Does it solely exist to troll Hilton enthusiasts into hating the brand? You have 7 parking spaces out front and the remaining in your neighbouring lot to share a km away, your elevator is another 100 yards walk from the front door as well. You don't offer guests coffee in the lobby which is atrocious for the brand expectations and you took my reservation for the shortest walk to the lobby on the lowest floor available at booking (2, because 1 is NEVER available) and switched my booking to the furthest possible room in the hotel from the lobby, top floor, furthest room on the opposite end. I have mobility issues that make it painful to walk. Lastly, why does my room smell like peroxide? You're a bunch of trolls for this. Thanks for nothing!

Stayed for four nights while attending an event on location. The hotel is nothing special but it delivers a good value. Common areas are clean and inviting. The rooms are large enough with a very good bathroom. Bed and pillows are good enough. Two notes that drive the 4 stars. The isolation towards the hallways is quite bad and you can hear everything in the room. Also, the restaurant has a nice menu but service is extremely slow. Overall a good stay!
