Green Acres Inn

So, at first glance, I really couldn't explain how it could be in first place in all of Kingston. Let's say the rooms have potential but they would need a refresh and, above all, more cleanliness, which is lacking in the details like the corners, the windows, and the fans full of dust and cobwebs. We stayed for two nights, but they didn't clean the room; however, they do provide towels if requested. The enchanting garden with the pool and the gazebo, and the exquisite kindness of the owner and the staff, make up for it a lot. A car is necessary for getting around, but at least there is a way to make a good Nespresso coffee in the morning, even if breakfast is not included.

I am currently on night three of a four night stay at Green Acres Inn and I can’t say enough good things about this place. The room is warm and inviting, traditional yet not dated, With the type of comfort and quality you don’t see much anymore. The innkeepers are lovely, as are the amenities. If you come to Kingston, stay here. Five stars.

We’ve stayed here when we can as a respite on the Toronto Montreal drive. It is a little out of town but the hotel is worth it. A little kitchenette, super clean and well maintained. A nice outdoor pool, swings, big lush ground with bunnies. Pet friendly-they even provide bowls, a bed and treats. Great beds and linens. Super quiet, nice management and reasonably priced. Also- park at your front door!
