Talbot Trail Inn & Suites

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday in August. The room rate was good for both nights and that is about the best it got. We first checked in and the room smelled musky. We thought maybe the sheets were put on the bed a little damp but it was the room. They didn't have a room to switch with. Had to get them to get a fan to at least circulate the musky smell. During the first night it sounded like someone was running on the roof. The rooms are dated. Cracks in the flooring and the walls look like someone tried to bust them open. The best part of the room was that the water pressure in the shower was great. If you don't care where you stay than this place will do the trick but if you expect a little more of anything in a room, than I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Run down rooms old beat up furniture Bugs all over the floor including ants No bath plug Arrogant owner No night staff Arrogant cleaning staff Overpriced Stinks bad water in bathroom stinks No working phone in room Beds on slab no boxspring hard as a rock Lumpy pillows bloodstained bedding and other stains. Cant access ice machine or anything at night. Rude staff and would nt recommend this crapoy place to anyone

We were very pleasantly impressed by this motel. Have never stayed in this area before, the motel was very clean, spacious, and exactly what we needed…very close to the locations we needed to go to. Beautiful town with so much history and character. Our room key at first did not seem to work but staff was very quick at rectifying the situation. We were allowed to check in early as we explained that we needed to be at wedding location by a specific time (father of the bride 😆) so they more than accommodated our request. Overnight rate for a Saturday was awesome! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
